The Senior Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and functions of a hotel. This is a home-based sales position representing the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau, The Bahamas. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for strategic account development and revenue growth from elite travel agencies and key consortia partners. The primary territory focus will be meetings and incentives of 100 rooms on peak for the Northeast and Southeast markets.


This position requires the following: * Established client relationships * Ability to generate and analyze production reports for account targeting * Ability to manage and forecast travel budgets * Comfort with complex negotiations * Strong presentation and communication skills * Ability to be highly productive in a non-structured home office

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of hotel sales or comparable experience in a large hotel or resort (700 rooms)
  • Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management a plus
  • Experience with complex negations
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced level of computer and office application proficiency
  • Ability and flexibility to travel frequently, domestically and internationally
  • Selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • Experience at an upscale or luxury hotel a plus
