Miraval Austin (formally Travaasa Experiential Resort) sits nestled in 210 acres of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve overlooking beautiful Lake Travis and just 30 minutes from downtown Austin. Our property is currently undergoing extensive renovations, and will soon include 120 guest rooms, conference facilities, a beautifully-appointed restaurant with an exhibition kitchen and outdoor patio, full-service spa with infinity edge pool, fitness center, horse stables and covered arena, farm, a challenge course, and many other facilities and amenities available to our guests at this all-inclusive resort.
During our time of growth and expansion, we are seeking an Associate Director of Revenue Management to join our growing team and help us get ready for our re-opening in Fall 2018. The Associate Director of Revenue is responsible for developing and maintaining a culture of revenue optimization by working with key stakeholders in each department to develop and execute strategies that continuously improve revenue performance for rooms, spa, programs and F&B. This position reports to the General Manager and is a member of the Leadership Committee.
Essential Functions: * Creates and maintains reporting structure that ensures each department has the tools necessary to identify revenue generating opportunities. * Works with marketing to create packaging which fits the desired market segmentation goals and seasonal occupancy targets. * Prices both transient and group packages in a manner which optimizes total RevPOR. * Manages and monitors availability rates and inventory for rooms, spa and programs. * Maintains availability, rates, inventory and content in the GDS. * Collaborates with programing department to proactively identify areas of opportunity. * Analyzes Spa purchasing patterns and delivers actionable intelligence to Director of Spa. * Forecasts rooms, spa and programing demand and reports progress to leadership weekly. * Oversees call center operations with a laser focus on KPIs and provides direction to reservations manager.
