A Baker/Pastry Cook at The Bellevue Hotel prepares all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards, assists higher level bakers, and any other duties as assigned by management. This entry level position will work independently with the majority of the shifts being in the afternoon/evening with open availability to include nights, weekends and holidays. As business levels dictate the baker/pastry cook may be required to work morning shifts requiring flexibility in scheduling needs. Previous pastry experience or training required. Position mainly focuses on ala carte pastry production with minimal banquet production requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Requires fair communication skills
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Capable of performing repetitious duties
  • Previous pastry cook experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule depending on hotel business levels, including mornings, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays
