Hyatt Facility Maintenance Utility Level Engineer in SEATTLE, Washington

The Grand Hyatt Seattle is recruiting for an Engineer II (Utility Engineer) to join our Facility Maintenance team!

The Utility Engineer will perform general maintenance repairs to the hotel and respond to requests from guests and colleagues regarding maintenance matters. The Utility Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities in the public area and as well as in the guest rooms. Troubleshooting skills are required, especially in the plumbing and electrical realm. This is a mid-level to advanced-level facility maintenance position that requires strong communication and customer service skills, previous facility maintenance experience, and the ability to work well independently and with the facilities team.

Qualifications:

  • Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Plumbing and Electrical experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
  • Ability to lift, push, pull a moderate weight
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assignments
  • Good communication skills
  • Must have troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
